We are currently
trying out a new method of connecting our customers by allowing them to
rent books to each other. It also means wider book selections available
and you can actually earn some money from your book collection! Here's
how it works.
- You can
share with Reader's Shack a list of books that you would like to rent
out.
- Reader's
Shack includes this into its database of books for customers to browse
through.
- Should
there be a request for your books, Reader's Shack will notify you to
send the books to us via postal, so that we can pass them on to customers.
- A Netseller
account will be set up for you where we will credit into that account,
the Selling Price of your books.
- When
your books are returned by the customer, we will debit from your account
the Buy Back Price as well as the postage to send the books back to
you.
- You will
need to bear the postage of the books for both sending to and receiving
from us.
- You have
an option at this point whether to cash out on your account. Reader's
Shack will take 25% of the Rental Price as commission.
- If your
book is not returned in 1.5 months' time, the book is considered sold
and the Selling Price credited earlier will still remain in your account.
Here, you can once again, choose to cash out on your account. Reader's
Shack will only take 25% of the supposed Rental Price as commission.
